The Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs presents its sincere condolences to the Egyptian people, the Arab nation, the peoples of Africa and the entire world for the loss of the great statesman, Dr. Botrous Botrous-Ghali, as a thinker, academician and statesman who crowned his political and intellectual career as the Secretary-General of the United Nations as the first Egyptian and Arab to assume this position. We are glorifying his contributions and prominent role in consolidating the values of freedom, justice, human rights and peace.
