At the invitation of the Military Attachés Service of the Military Intelligence, a number of ECFA members, namely, Ambassador Dr. Ezzat Saad, ECFA Director, Ambassador Mohamed Tawfik, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Kamal, Professor of Political Science, as well as Ambassador Sherif Issa, Assistant Foreign Minister for African Affairs, participated in the program of lectures for members of the course of military diplomatic representation (Defense Attachés at Egyptian embassies abroad), on December 16, 2021.
Ambassador Saad delivered a lecture on Egypt’s foreign policy trends, focusing on Egypt’s relations with the European continent in general and its relations with the European Union in particular, in accordance with the Egypt-EU Association Agreement that was signed in 2001 and entered into force in 2004.
In this context, Ambassador Saad presented the content of the document on new partnership priorities between Egypt and the Union in force in the period from 2016 to 2021, as well as the features of the draft new partnership priorities document that was expected to be signed before the end of 2021, and which will cover the period from 2022-2027. His Excellency answered the questions of the attachés members in the session.
