The Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs mourns Ambassador Taher Shash, one of its founding members and former Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who made outstanding and well-remembered contributions in defending the national rights of the Palestinian people, when he worked for many years as an advisor to the Palestinian leadership and headed the Egyptian delegation in the Autonomy Talks for the brotherly Palestinian people; in addition to his valuable publications on the Palestinian cause and the Arab-Israeli conflict.
The Council also recalls with appreciation and gratitude the contributions of the late Ambassador Taher Shash to the programs and activities of the Council on various issues, especially in their legal and political aspects, as well as his distinguished contributions to the outcomes and recommendations of these activities.
The Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs mourns one of its dedicated members, and wishes patience and solace to his family and friends.
